About Me
Ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted to teach. I can remember setting my stuffed animals into a line to teach them. My father went out and found me a chalkboard, old textbooks, and other teacher supplies. I would go up to my teachers and asked for any copies that they did not use. I loved to learn. As time went on, I ended up teaching my younger siblings. Soon that led to kids in the neighborhood. By the time that I was in High School (GO WARHAWKS!!), I was tutoring students my age.
I graduated from Mercer University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education/Special Education. I have taught Georgia Pre-Kindergarten (10 years), kindergarten, fifth grade, and fourth grade. This will be my second year in fourth grade.
I have a variety of interests - technology, reading, crafts, 5Ks (Susan G Komen: Race for the Cure and Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes are my two favorites), and hanging with my fiance', Mr. Drew (we're getting married 10-04-14).

Colors: Pink, Black, and Blue (especially if any of these colors are used in polka dots)
Stores: Books-A-Million and WalMart
Restaurants: Chick-Fil-A and Cheddars
Scent: Vanilla
Animal: Dog (Specifically Jack Russells)
Book series: Anne of Green Gables or Little House on the Prairie
